Meet the Team
I was on my way to a career in a medical field when some friends got married. They did not have a big budget, in fact just the opposite. I was 19 and I volunteered to help them. I got more enjoyment over finding inexpensive favors than anything I had done so far in the medical field and a career was born. Imagine how much fun it is to be an integral part of a person’s happiest day.
So, I changed my focus and began my studies in earnest, beginning with my degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management with an emphasis in meetings and events at San Diego State. I also have bridal consultant certificates with Penn Foster, ABC (Association of Bridal Consultants) Certified Bridal Consultant and Best of Wedding Wire 2012 just to name a few.
I have been approved to work in such prestigious locations as The Richard Nixon Library, Soka University, Pagent of the Masters, Ocean Institute, Segerstrom Hall, The Ritz Carlton, Ojai Valley Inn and Spa and a host of other sites with preferred vender lists.
I can honestly say, I love what I do.
Nicole joined our team after years with a prestigious, world renowned, hotel in Laguna Beach, California. With over 15 years of wedding and event experience, she's seen it all and is prepared for any design, idea or last minute change that could come her way. One of her favorite parts of working with a couple is being able to throw out the cookie cutter standard and create something new and unique. Whether it's tradition, cultures, or even helping a couple create their own new traditions, Nicole prides herself on making every moment customized to the couple.
A few fun facts about Nicole:
She has a dog named Jaxx, who yes, she dresses in a sweater.
Nicole grew up in south Orange County and has worked with some of the most distinguished vendors, beachside venues and resorts throughout the area.
Her perfect day off is a long run on the beach followed by brunch with all her best friends.
Nicole always thought that she wanted to be a pastry chef when she grew up and soon figured out in college that pastry wasn’t a career path it was more of a hobby for her, “It’s something that I really enjoy doing when I have time and can be creative as well as pleasing people with my creations!” After jumping from interior design and event planning, she landed in the middle with wedding planning and design. While brainstorming, she thought about how she loves to plan parties and gatherings with friends and family and how being a little bit of a control freak (when it comes to things going perfectly and having a plan) worked perfectly when relating to clients.
A few run facts about Nicole, our resident red head:
Nicole can be found on her off days tearing up the dance floor and dining out with her friends in the local beach cities.
FRENCH BULL DOGS… she doesn’t have one yet but there will definitely be one in her future.
Her favorite travel destination is Colorado to visit her grandparents.
Sweets are her absolute favorite, hence pastry chef!

MEET MY BEAU
We met in a parking lot off a crowded Southern California freeway on Valentine's Day. I admit it was a Craig's List shelter hook-up and I was a little nervous at first, so I brought some girlfriends with me to be sure. But there he was, all cute and fluffy... it was love at first site. Who can resist that face?
